Graffiti festival
An international graffiti festival will be running on April 27 from 11 a.m. to midnight at the Lokstrim rollerblading center. All day, graffiti artists will be invited to decorate the rollerdrome, the adjacent grounds, canvases and cardboard stands that will be installed around the place. Near the evening, the organizers are holding a break-dancing competition.


Contest for turntablists
On April 27 the MatchBox dance and pool club will be hosting a DJ festival. The list of participants had not been released at press time, but organizers maintained the best DJs of Moscow will be on hand, specializing in hip-hop and rhythm-'n'-blues.


Jewels on display
If you hurry, you might have a chance to see a unique collection of Christian Dior jewelry, on display in the Christian Dior boutique from April 26-28 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Each piece from Dior is a work of high art and is one of a kind, guaranteeing exclusivity to its lucky owner. Some Dior items are as expensive as $500,000.


Intercharm 2002
A high-profile exhibition of cosmetics and beauty salons, Intercharm Professional, will be running at the Expocenter on Krasnaya Presnya and in the World Trade Center from May 3-5. In addition to displaying perfumes, cosmetics and equipment, the event will include the third open body-art championship, Body-Art-Open, and an open nail-services championship.


Extreme rhapsody
"Extreme Rhapsody" - a personalized exhibition by trendy photographer Dmitry Donskoi - will be running in the Lumier Brothers Photo Gallery until May 19. The main theme in Donskoi's work is the naked human form: He himself defines his work as "conceptual photography." The display will be organized in steps - from "extreme" hardcore photos to soft and gentle ones, accentuating the beauty and resilience of the human body.
