The famous American jazz guitarist Paul Bollenback will present an original interpretation of jazz in Le Club, Moscow on February 8th and 9th. The musician will play together with Igor Butman-s trio. Bollenback's emotionally expressive style is characterized by a penchant for the blues, hypnotic modality and straight-ahead, angular mellow standards. He likes to use exotic musical sounds from India. Bollenback's eclectic approach is the result of years of listening, studying and playing music by many of the world-s greats, from Carlos Santana to John Coltrane.

He is the first call guitarist for the internationally acclaimed Joey DeFrancesco Trio, and has worked and recorded regularly with DeFrancesco since 1990. He also works and records with cutting-edge saxophonist Gary Thomas, and the great jazz legend Stanley Turrentine.

Russian tenor saxophonist Igor Butman has played with major American jazz musicians both in Russia and the USA, for which he earned the name "a jazz bridge between Moscow and New York".
