The British Ambassador to Moscow, Sir Roderic Lyne, visited the "Voice of Russia" radio station and met Estelle Winters, the host of the evening talk-show, "Timeless." Estelle said the ambassador turned out to be an interesting interviewee and gave clear-cut and thorough answers to all questions, from cricket to Russian-British trade. The latest news, Sir Roderic Lyne told Estelle, was that the system for obtaining British visas has been drastically improved.

Thus, the ambassador emerged as the highlight of the 400th edition of "Timelines," which has been on the air every weekend since 1992 and is just one of the many programs broadcast by the world service, Voice of Russia, formerly called Radio Moscow.
