In this J.B. Rogers-directed sequel to Paul Weitz's 1999 hugely successful teen comedy "American Pie," the barely post-adolescent group of horny kids from the first film reunite one year later for summer vacation after completing their first year of college. The plot reunites the characters after their first year in college. Nadia is coming to visit Jim, who feels that he still isn't ready for Nadia sexually. Much of the plot revolves around Jim getting ready to see Nadia. He continues his quest for sexual independence by seeking the help of his flute-toting old prom date, Michele, and learns that there is more to their relationship than he previously thought. Meanwhile, Kevin and Vicky find themselves in an awkward situation after having broken up for a year and meeting up again. Oz must deal with a long-distance relationship when his girlfriend, Heather, heads off to France to study abroad. Old feuds die hard as the ever-so-horny Stifler harbors his grudge toward Finch, who is practicing the Eastern art of Tantra. Of course, lots of drinking, sex and slapstick ensue, as the writers try to top the infamous "apple pie scene" in the first installment.
