Twenty-five teams took part Aug. 10 in what the American Chamber of Commerce described as "a four person golf scramble."

The event AmCham’s fourth Annual Golf Tournament, was won by Deloitte & Touche. Hertz Sun Microsystems came in second and Colliers International picked up third. Various prizes were awarded, not only to the winners, but also to six golfers for particular accomplishments on the course: longest drives, coming closest to the pin, etc.

The contest raised $1,160 for the Friends of Russia’s Children charity, by selling mulligans and tickets to the raffle, prizes for which were donated by member-companies.

With fine weather in what has so far been a changeable August, the event was considered an all-round success.

The event took place at the Le Meridien Moscow Country Club.
