The Christmas Beauty 2002 contest, held as part of the Forbidden Love Parade, took place in the Barmalei dance club Jan. 11. The difference was, these beauties were transvestites. Three contestants competed, performing dances in drag. The eventual winner, Joconde, put on a spectacular show to the music of Sinead O'Connor's ‘Nothing Compares to You.' Guests at the party included Cabaret Liberty (shown above), a duet that has more than once represented Russia at various events on the island of Ibiza.
