NEW YORK - Jennifer Capriati lost at the U.S. Open but still came out on top the other night when she whipped off her shirt at an East Village nightclub, the New York Post's Page Six reports. The sexy tennis star - cigarette in hand - stunned the party crowd at trendy club Serafina moments after she hit the dance floor. After a few screams of "Woo!" Capriati grabbed her shirt and tore it open to reveal a black silk brassiere and flat, bronzed tummy, according to Page Six.
Then she grabbed a microphone and sang karaoke, unabashedly shaking her stuff to the throbbing drum-n-bass beat. On hand to witness Capriati's dancing and singing was "Friends" star Matthew Perry, who had insisted a few days prior that he and the former world No. 1 are absolutely not seeing each other. "We're not romantically involved. Jenny is just a really good friend who's a lot of fun to hang out with," Perry told The Post.
But one tennis insider hinted a match might be on the horizon, because "they love each other as friends, and you never know what the future holds or what might develop. Matt's certainly watched her play often enough." Witnesses at Serafina said Perry seemed to be intent on comforting Jennifer, who earlier Wednesday went down to defeat at the hands of French player Amelie Mauresmo.
