1. Lawyers
After you graduate from the university you’ll have to face a choice: profits or public service. And even if your partner is a true romantic, how romantic is it to defend another client in court, showing all your skills in oral eloquence, when your salary isn’t enough to feed your dog? Lesson: Choose your partners well in love and law.

2. Businessmen
Why not pursue a career in "finance"? A true businessman would do anything/go anywhere to make an extra buck. Plus, you’ll never get face controlled if you roll up to the club in a Bentley.

3. Doctors
It takes time to become a qualified specialist, but it’s worth it! After six years of hard labor at the university, you may turn into a wealthy plastic surgeon, heart surgeon or a well-off dentist. But if you are an altruist by nature and don’t take bribes, you’ll have to live at the expense of your parents until you become a really indispensable specialist.

4. Fashion photographers
Top fashion photographers can make a few thousand dollars a day. Like artists, many photographers start out as assistants to the old guard. Better bosses will throw some smaller jobs to their younger assistants, but if they don’t, there’s always the lesser-known fashion magazines.

5. Politicians
It takes a special kind of person to be a politician: It’s a rare gift to be able to doublespeak with a smart expression on your face. The better you do it, the higher your popularity. Refer to Vladimir Zhirinovsky to really get the idea.

6. Teachers
These days a teacher’s income is unlikely to make a software engineer or even a hairdresser, jealous. Sadly, you can make more money as a garbage collector. But salary doesn’t always match the importance of the work you do. And success isn’t always measured in Benjamins.

7. Bartenders
These guys rarely work more than three nights per week. At a downtown club a bartender will put up to $300 in his pocket in a night. But if you want steady money serving drinks, a hotel is the place to be.

8. Dancers
The sex industry is booming in Moscow, and lap dancing is on the rise. Topless dancers work mainly on tips, and if you have a nice body and face, plus a good personality and character, you’ll make serious money soon. But remember, money can’t buy happiness.

9. Singers
Even if you don’t have (any) discernable vocal skills – never mind. Focus on something else, like your producer, for instance. Or get yourself a good, scandalous gimmick and you’ll obtain a higher salary, although you’ll never feel that you’ve got enough money.

10. Music video directors
Follow in Fyodor Bondarchuk’s, Philipp Yankovsky’s or Yegor Konchalovsky’s footsteps, all of whom have famous parents. The world of showbiz helped them get their start in the cinematic world. Try shooting music videos for pop singers before producing full-length films. The more you practice, the more you’ll gain in future. •
