Finding free time is hard these days. What’s more, deciding what to do in your free time is even harder if you don’t have a summer getaway like a dacha. We surveyed a few people on the street and found out what they do to entertain themselves after the workday melts away.

Roman Teslenko,
26, engineer
My wife and I – and sometimes our friends join us, too – like to take a rest from the hustle, bustle, noise and exhaust gases of the city somewhere in the wilderness, like Medvezhyi Ozyora or Losinoostrovsky Park. It’s a pity, however, that we don’t have time to go there as often as we would like to. And we never go there by car – only on foot or on bicycles.

Yelena Mozgalyova,
18, student
There is a vacation resort, Sosny, on Ryblyovo Shosse. It’s cool there! There’s a river, forest, tennis court and a swimming pool. Also, the Nikolina Gora dacha village is nearby where lots of my friends live.

Alexei Golovdeyev,
25, computer programmer
When I have free time, I go rollerblading in Park Pobedy. When I happen to visit my dacha near Zhavoronki, I go looking for umbrella-shaped mushrooms: That’s my hobby. Umbrella-shaped mushrooms are a rare species, and finding even one such mushroom makes me really happy.

Ilya Merzavtsev,
41, deputy director in charge of finance
I don’t see any pleasure in spending free time anywhere inside Moscow. I keep all I need inside my car: a hammock, swim trunks, flip-flops and all that. I get into my car and go somewhere. I stop where I like and where there is not too much trash. I have no problems finding company because I have a lot of friends.

Timur Tsipinov,
25, logistics officer in a construction company
I like to spend my free time in good company with girls. Gorky Park is one of the possible places to go. Or I just go for a walk with a friend, and we sit somewhere on the street drinking beer.

Ibragim Sultayev,
33, accountant
If I have time, I like to relax in a bar or in a cafe. I like Piramida, CoffeeTun and Shokoladnitsa.

Olga Solovyova,
28, accountant
Where I like to relax? Well, somewhere in a park. Sokolniki is a nice park. There you can sit on a bench, breath fresh air and listen to music. Also, there is a shooting gallery where my friends and I like to do shooting practice.

Svetlana Stolyarova,
30, economist
I’m so busy at work that I have almost no time for pleasure. I don’t like nightclubs, and I have not been to a hangout for a long time now. If I happen to have some free time I go to Serebryany Bor. I can go there alone or with friends, depending on my mood.
