This time we decided to find out what kinds of music are most popular among Muscovites. As it turns out, our folks have very different musical tastes, especially where it applies to the young. Not to mention the obvious fact that the young have strongly different musical tastes from the middle-aged crowd.

I like to listen to Frank Sinatra in the morning while I’m at home. In between the business of the day, and at night when I’m back home, I listen to Edith Piaf.

I listen to Russian rock. Since recently, I’ve been listening to various albums by DDT and ChaiF. I listen to music mostly when I’m doing something, for example, my homework. Music doesn’t distract me.

Recently, I’ve been listening to an anthology of Celtic folk music. Also, my friends gave me three albums by the group Picnic: "Nemnogo ognya" (Some Fire), "Hieroglyph" and "Ginseng." I listen to them when I’m at home. I haven’t got a walkman, which is why I don’t listen to anything on my way to or from somewhere. Sometimes, I listen to music when I’m at my friends’ apartments.

I usually listen to music on the radio. More often, I listen to radio Maximum because they broadcast both Russian and foreign rock music. Usually, I tune to the station while on my way somewhere.
