I’m compelled to take this opportunity to write a thank you note to the good people of Moscow who returned my purse to me, along with my passport, visa and credit cards.

I lost my bag one night while enjoying Moscow’s nightlife. More important than the bag, was what was in side. I thought I’d be in a world of trouble considering I lost my passport and visa, which were in the bag. Among the other things I lost were a camera, a cell phone, cash and a hat. While all that certainly was not good news, I was most upset about my documents as I did not want to have to deal with the U.S. Embassy.

However some blessed soul took pity on me, and while that person may have taken my camera, phone, cash and hat, they left me my credit cards and documents, which are far more important to me. I was lucky enough to have one of my business cards in my wallet, so the unnamed angel returned my stuff to my office. So, once again, thank you good people of Moscow!
