I hate to be cliche in my complaints, but I really can’t stand the rain that’s been bombarding Moscow for the past month. Really, it’s been what I’d classify as an abominable summer. I remember last summer was hot, sticky and dirty – just like summer’s supposed to be. I’m from the southern United States so I like when things get a little stank and sweaty.

So I ask, where, pray tell, is the stank, the sweat? More importantly, where’s the sun? When I was in the States last January, I even bought a new pair of Blu-Blockers sunglasses to wear this summer and I’ve only worn them about three times. What’s happened? Europe’s been going through a heat wave and Moscow’s been left out. Some of you are probably thanking your lucky stars that Moscow hasn’t experienced the suffocating and dangerous heat of Europe, but I miss my summer. Hopefully I’ll get to wear my Blu-Blockers next year...
