MOSCOW - Alexander Yakovenko, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, refuted the statements made by several mass media sources that relations between Russia and the USA had worsened recently.

He made a corresponding statement at a press conference today.

This was how Yakovenko commented on the conclusions that a range of mass media sources made from statements of several US top officials. Deputy Foreign Minister Yury Fedotov added that the issue of Russia's state governance in view of Russian President's Vladimir Putin's recent statements had not been included in the agenda of the 59th session of the UN General Assembly.
