MOSCOW - Russia intends to repay the foreign national debt to the value of US$1.809 billion in March, the Ministry of Finance reported.

In particular, in March it will be redeemed the main debt to the countries-official creditors at the rate of US$85.85 million with the interests of up to US46.85 million. Also it is expected to settle indebtedness to the international financial organizations to the extent of US$113.434 million with the interests of up to US$27.935 million and the main eurobond national debt for US$832.92 million with the interests of up to US$702.404 million.

In January Russia paid off the debt of up to US$3.3 billion ahead of time to the International Monetary Fund.
