I guess everyone wants to go somewhere and get some rest and relaxation, but often, our means don't allow it. The place I'd like to visit most of all ... is Amsterdam. People say it's a friendly, beautiful place, and I've never been there. I feel envious that a friend of mine was able to go there and experience all the pleasures it has to offer. I'll go some day. If you dream about something long enough, your dreams will come true.

My family is from Minsk, and this summer we went to Yalta. Now we're visiting Moscow. But still, there are two places I'd like to visit. First, I want to go to Spain to practice my Spanish and see how people live there. And second, I've always dreamed about Egypt. It's so ancient and so beautiful and has the pyramids. I can't even imagine it. I want to see all this with my own eyes and find out more about our ancestors, because I'm sure that's where mankind began.

I want to go to San Francisco, but it's quite a problem for me, because a ticket costs $640. The obstacles on the way to my dream vacation are all financial, but that's how it is now. A person who has a good job with a real salary can allow himself to dream and to make these dreams come true. I just want to go to America. My friend lives there. I want to visit her and just relax there. But sometimes, it's easier to relax in a place where you haven't spent so much money just to get there.

Everything depends on the price of the trip. The best place to visit in our country is St. Petersburg. For foreign destinations, I'd have to say the most accessible places are Turkey and Spain. I was in Spain and in Germany, and I guess I like European countries the most. I've been to Asia, but I don't like the way of life there — the culture is so different. But staying in Moscow is not bad, either.

This summer, I spent my vacation at my grandmother's place in a village called Kluchi. But I want to go to the Black Sea, because I like Hosta. My parents, my brother and I were there once, but only for nine days. That's not enough to really enjoy the sea. Everything's so nice there, especially the beach, sand, shells. I really want to go back.

LYUDMILA SEREBROVA, 38, PIANIST

I used to go to the Black Sea with my family to spend my holidays, like most Russians used to do. But sometimes, I dream about a trip around the world. There isn't an actual place I'd like to visit. I just want to see the world, to meet different people, to get acquainted with foreign cultures. But I have to say that there are plenty of beautiful, hospitable towns and villages in good surroundings in our country, too.
